Membership

WHO CAN JOIN?

Membership is open to educators, students, professionals and academic libraries with an interest in computer-aided design. Although ACADIA is based in North America, ACADIA has members from all over the world and encourages all to join.

HOW TO JOIN?

You may already be a member! If you attended the annual ACADIA conference, your membership to ACADIA was included with your conference registration. Please check your email for information on how to activate your account. If you need the activation information resent, please contact membership@acadia.org.

If you did not attend this year’s conference and would like to join, please review the various membership levels below.

Subscriber

Description

Free account for people interested in ACADIA in general. People in this category are “Subscribers” (non-voting) instead of “Members”.

Student

Description

Student membership rates apply to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students with current full or part-time enrolment in a degree program. Part-time students who simultaneously hold a full-time teaching position do not qualify for this rate and should register as a Regular member. Student membership can be purchased yearly or comes automatically for the following year as part of conference registration.

    ACADIA is a nonprofit organization run by a volunteer Board. Your membership goes directly to support the organization's annual activities and operations.

Description

Regular membership for faculty, practitioners, researchers, etc. (A Subscriber does not constitute membership.) Membership can be purchased yearly or comes automatically for the following year as part of conference registration.

Description

This membership is for non-profit institutions such as universities and libraries and is non-voting.

Benefits

  • Group CUMINCAD access. Provide everyone at your institution access to thousands of papers on CUMINCAD through a dedicated ip address.
  • Electronic version of the conference proceedings
  • Posting job openings on ACADIA.org
  • Dues: $200.00 / year
